We are delighted to introduce Roman and Chitra Stern who discovered Martinhal and have made an outstanding success of designing and selling the Residences at Martinhal over the past few years. The Residences phase is around 80% completed and has a number of luxury villas/bungalows and townhouses to rent.

The Sterns’ partners in Martinhal luxury family resort are Nigel Chapman and Nicholas Dickinson, through their Four Winds Resorts. In partnership with Roman and Chitra, Four Winds will operate the Martinhal luxury family resort into the long term.

Nigel and Nicholas have a distinguished background as hotel developer/ operators in the UK and over the past decade they have founded two innovative and award winning hotel brands: Luxury Family Hotels and Alias Hotels. Four Winds represents their response to the development and subsequent operation of Luxury Resorts. Four Winds has also acquired tour operators Meriski and Handmade Holidays Europe and Asia and will be developing another luxury resort in Ireland's West Cork, in partnership with Roman and Chitra.

Rising to the challenge of designing a truly perfect place has been the task of Conran&Partners where the team, headed by Matthew Wood, has surpassed even our expectations. Conran has worked with Lisbon-based leisure specialists Arquitectura SA to translate the masterplan into reality.

We are very proud to be constructing the final phase of Martinhal now and opening of the Hotel Resort and its facilities is set for 2010! We are looking forward to presenting "Europe's Finest Luxury Family Resort" very soon!
