Carnival comes to Sagres!
Sagres was blessed with beautiful spring sunshine for the annual carnival parade in 2011. Many of the guests from Martinhal joined the crowd of about 2,000 local residents and international visitors to enjoy the friendly, lively atmosphere and spectacular, colourful costumes. As the carnival drew to a close and darkness started to fall, the bars came to life with DJ’s and parties in the bars along Main Street. To see more pictures of carnival, please click here.
